Hey Bernie. What do you have against the Tigers? I think its easier to stomach Detroit winning a World Series than Boston. Those people and that World Series a few years ago made me want to vomit (over and over). I would agree with you though that a Cardinals win of the World Series is nice too (please, just not another Marlins one). Meanwhile, I have to cheer for Detroit.
Andy, it's not so much anything against the Tigers but Pudge and Kenny Rogers. Rogers is plain unlikable (for many reasons) and I have never been a fan of Pudge (I think there should be more speculation about the riod use of many baseball players, and Pudge is one of those guys; I have always thought he was a dirty and classless ballplayer, he was on the Marlins team in 2003). However, I do respect most of the Tigers (especially Sean Casey, by all accounts one of the best people in pro sports). One of my best friends is a Cardinals fan, and having attended a game in St. Louis, I have such high hopes for their fans...and you're right about Boston; those people still won't shut up about 2004!
